Our neurologists and neurosurgeons lead programs ranked among the best in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. We work as a team to evaluate your child and create a care plan based on their specific needs.Â
We offer advanced, award-winning services for kids. We have a Level 4 epilepsy center (the highest accreditation) and provide care for brain and nerve tumors, headaches and migraines, neuromuscular conditions and more. We’re also researching new treatments and offering clinical trials and therapies not widely available.Â

We offer advanced nonsurgical therapies. We start with nonsurgical approaches when possible. We offer neurologic-focused physical therapy, occupational therapy, hand therapy, speech and language therapy advanced casting, assistive technology, custom braces and orthotics and more.
We use the latest, minimally invasive surgical procedures. Our surgeons are recognized for performing advanced procedures to treat the most complex conditions. We’re highly skilled in image-guided neuroendoscopy, which uses small cuts and tiny tools. This can mean a faster recovery time, less pain and minimal scarring.
We provide state-of-the-art rehabilitation services. Our inpatient and outpatient rehab programs are recognized for quality and excellence. We use the latest equipment, like ZeroG® robotic technology to help kids walk. We also have the area’s largest indoor pediatric pool for aquatic therapy.
We support your child’s success. Our social workers, Child Life specialists, pastoral care teams and other team members are here for your whole family. We help you cope, find community resources and access school support.

Our Research
We’re actively researching and developing advanced techniques, medicines and therapies for kids. We have special focus on epilepsy, autism spectrum disorders and spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). We share our findings so we can help kids everywhere, even those we’ll never meet.Â
Our Gait Analysis Laboratory: Among the First of Its Kind
We're always looking for new ways to diagnose and treat neuromuscular conditions. In fact, our children’s hospital was among the first in the nation to offer a Gait Analysis Laboratory, where we use advanced techniques to analyze the way your child walks. This helps us make the best possible treatment decisions — surgical and nonsurgical — for your child’s condition.
Answers and Guidance for Expectant Parents

For conditions that may require specialized care after birth, we work with expectant parents to diagnose medical problems in the womb, help them prepare, and provide care as soon as their baby is born. Find out more about our perinatal program.
